Writing unit 2: The decade 2000-2010

2000-2010 was a decade which people remember for many reasons. There were good times like the marriage of the prince of Spain. There were also difficult times, for example the 11th of September, the terrorist attack on the twin towers.

In the world of music, there were a lot of pop artists in the charts, for example, Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera and Coldplay. In cinemas, Angelina Jolie was a big hit. Fashions were bright and interesting, it was the era of large pants and bluses.

By the end of the decade, the world was a different place with inventions such as the smartphones. One of the most memorable events of the decade 2000-2010 took place in Spain, when it won the Football European Championship.
